'A Song Of Spring' is the new offering from Pete Jones. The release date is March 4th 2022. Following on from 2017's The Depths Of Winter, Pete brings us his take on the spring season, with tales of joy and tragedy from around the world. Featuring Andy Latimer (Camel) on guitar.
Tiger Moth Tales is essentially the brain child of Nottinghamshire based musician and writer Pete Jones. Previously known for writing and performing adult contemporary music, at the beginning of 2013 Pete began work on a progressive music project. In an effort to rejuvenate the creative process he went back to the music he had listened to in his childhood with bands such as Genesis, Queen Etc. Also he was taking influences from the modern progressive bands like Frost, Big Big Train, Haken and Progressive stalwarts such as Steve Hackett and Roine Stolt.
‘Cocoon’ took the prog world by storm upon is release late in 2014 and it’s only been uphill for Pete since then. It opened the eyes of many musical veterans leading to Pete being involved with several bands and guesting on many albums. He’s been a full time member of Prog Legends Camel since 2016 and has toured extensive with them and filmed two concert DVDs. Other acts include ‘The Francis Dunnery Band’, ‘Magenta’ and more recently ‘Cyan’ to name a few.
With 6 studio albums, a DVD and a plethora or digital content on his Bandcamp page under his belt, Pete and Tiger Moth Tales have an extremely bright future.
