Jess Parker - Bread and Butter (2022) Hi-Res

For the last five years Jess Parker has been summoning up and dishing out her unique brew of dark folk and country fingerpicking. Residing in Regional Victoria, Australia she pays homage to her surroundings - from the rich soil and lore of the Goldfields that nourishes her garden, the strong brew of her morning coffee on the back porch, to the kitchen table spirits that flicker candles and offer up songs to her at midnight. Jess finds the light in the dark, and often the darkness in the light. The upcoming ‘Bread & Butter’ is her follow up to 2020’s ‘Death Songs & Kitchen Spirituals’.
