Lent - Au galop (2022)

These Orléanais from jazz take us at their own pace (Slowly but at a gallop!) on a terra incognita that we will place all the same on the continent of rock, on a culminating point accessible by a steep path made of rhythmic breaks and texts invigorating in French, from which we see Katerine as much as the Stooges, Zappa as La Rumeur, Anne Sylvestre as Robert Wyatt. We thus pass with ease from first degree ascending con-con texts to much more abstract tableaux, playing Beer-Paper-Scissors with the pillar of the corner counter, escaping the ubiquitous Selfie screens of you by salutary Cathodic Leaks, to a bit lame waltz (Ghost Horizon) or more ethereal flights (In the middle of birdsong). We often lose our bearings but that is precisely what is good!
