Kocin Kociński Trio - 14 Short Stories (2022)

This is the band's second album. The first was released in 2013 by Allegro Records and was nominated for the FRYDERYK award. The music on the latest album is a combination of jazz, ethnic music and free improvisation. Most of them are compositions by Maciej Kociński, however, the recordings also include such famous songs as "Over the rainbow" or "Amazing Grace". Characteristic for the composition is the use of acoustic instruments combined with electronics, which delicately colorizes, intrigues and enriches the sound layer of a classic jazz trio. Many years of joint experience, thorough musical education and open minds of artists are a guarantee of the quality and uniqueness of each concert and each joint musical production.
14 SHORT STORIES is a multi-colored story written with sounds, consisting of 14 short stories. They are full of beauty, peace, as well as unresolved tensions and emotions that reach high. They refer to various - not only musical - fascinations, searches and discoveries of artists.
