Luciano Magno (born in Paulo Afonso, Bahia) is a Brazilian guitarist, songwriter, singer, arranger and record producer.

Magno is a guitar virtuoso and one of the new names of the Brazilian instrumental music.

His music brings a remarkable representation to the Brazilian guitar, transiting with great fluency in the universe of frevo, samba, choro, bossa and baiao.

His musical career began in Recife in the 90's years and released his first instrumental album (Freedom) in 2000, by the record label Sony distribution Polydisc. The album that features names like Naná Vasconcelos, Dominguinhos and Heraldo do Monte, earned him several positive reviews and mentions in various magazines in the genre. Luciano Magno performed at the Montreux Festival in the same year, featuring the repertoire from the album Freedom, with a band that featured the participation of saxophonist Spok.
