Following his last recording, "Phenomenology," which Downbeat magazine declared "a masterpiece" in it's 2010 year-end issue, New York trumpeter Liam Sillery has just proceeded on in doing what he does best - creating forward-looking, modern, articulate jazz with his tight knit ensemble of equally inspired improvisors. Never creating obvious or overly predictable music, his trumpet solos are full of subtle surprises while his compositions are fresh and highly original. Sillery's fifth solo outing on OA2 Records further reveals a singular artist in the prime of his artistic development.
