Since first hit 'Hanabi' launched Aiko's solo career four years ago, the singer/songwriter has written a score of melodic songs with heartfelt lyrics including 'Kabutomushi' and 'Aki Sobani Iruyo'. 'Akatsukino Love Letter' is her fifth studio album and she proves here that her skills as a songwriter have matured quite nicely. As one would expect, there are no bells and whistles here, just thirteen heartwarming and singable songs. All the tracks are sensitive without being overly sentimental.
