Danny and The Thunders is a Finnish Founded in 1978, rock and roll and rockabilly band. The band members were originally from Helsinki.

The band won the Favorite magazine, organized by the Finnish rock kingdom competitions in 1980, the members of the band of about 15 years of age. This yielded an EP- length album recording contract . A four- song album contained one of the band 's self- track, the others were cover songs . EP- album songs that were also used in the later produced a Rockin'it - label's compilation album Teenage Party. The band made appearances in four years and ceased operations in 1983, Since then its members played in various bands.

In 2002, Thunders met together again , making appearances. Guitarist Henry Roth was replaced by Danny's little brother Jonah Nurminen . Today, Danny and The Thunders also shows a style according to their own material.
