Record label Verve has officially released the track Roy Allan (DJ Krush Remix) across worldwide digital platforms, following its original limited 1995 Japan-only CD single issue. The release combines a hypnotic trip-hop remix crafted by Japanese producer DJ Krush, the original jazz album version, and two previously unreleased archival tracks: the live staple Tom Cat (Live) and the jazz ballad Stairway to the Stars. The recording features ensemble performances by musicians Ron Blake, Rodney Whitaker, Stephen Scott, and Gregory Hutchinson.
