Sketchy musical scores, poetic, fine art and philosophical inspirations take on a sound form in the hands of the Borbély Műhely. The ethno-jazz sound characteristic of the band is pushed into the background, and the emphasis on the compositions, written down to the last detail, moves even more strongly towards freedom than on the previous records.

With this line-up, Mihály Borbély recorded his second album for BMC Records after Grenadilla, released in 2019, and as an author, this is his sixth album under the auspices of the label. The title does not so much refer to the mood-dynamic character of the compositions, but rather to the ideal situation of listening and absorption: this music requires immersion. The wonders of the night are hidden, but those who pay attention can discover the prominent shadows that inspired the record, from Jancsó to Pilinszky to Miles Davis and John Coltrane. The quartet floats in the ocean of improvisation, flashing many musical colors, characters, and even extremism, not neglecting humor and drama.
