Fly's memory is my second album as leader, recorded in may 2020 in Paris. It merges three different styles: jazz, world and chamber music. It consists of four pieces adding up to forty minutes of interplay between classical strings, flute, clarinets and iranian percussions.

I have created my first suite of this album inspired by Gabriel Garcia Marquez's masterpiece "Chronicle of a death foretold": I changed the word "death" with the word "confusion", and named it "Chronicle of a confusion foretold". This title has inspired my creative process . "Fly's memory" suite has been developed in the same way, while reading "La memoria della mosca" by Giacomo Ciarrapico. Each part of this composition follows step by step the story of a fly which tries to find a way out through the window, without success. I love this metaphor of human nature because we always forget what we don't want to remember.
