Tony Gould - To Begin at the Beginning (2022)

A former Head of Music at the Victorian College of the Arts Tony has had a profound influence on many musicians through his open minded approach and encouraging individuality as a musician develops. He's been a professional musician and pianist since the '60s having performed and recorded with Brian Brown, Ted Vining, John Sangster, Graeme Lyall, John Hoffman, Peter Petrucci and many others. As well as being the recipient of the Don Banks Music Award he has also recorded many albums as a leader and collaborator. As our Artist in Residence Tony has chosen some of his projects alongside some favourite musicians such as Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson, Keith Jarrett as well as Australians including Colin Hopkins, Tim Stevens, James Sherlock, Andrea Keller and many more.
