Ultrafox - Ultrafox 2 (2022)

Ultrafox 2 is an evolution of what came before. The compositions are more elaborate and pull from a wider array of musical genres while still remaining uniquely Ultrafox. There’s electro-funk numbers such as “Borrowed Time” sitting right next to surf-rock tunes like “Vice.” The goal this time was to be a bit more progressive and have the tunes shift between styles. It’s not uncommon to hear complete tonal shifts throughout Ultrafox 2. I like to think that this album concludes phase one of Ultrafox as a band and going forward we’ll continue to hone our music and innovate further, while still keeping our jazzy flavor.
