MUTTER SLATER was the frontman and flute player for the 70's band STACKRIDGE, a group that established itself as a firm favourite on countless stages throughout the land and now that Stackridge have called it a day the song writing and performing bug has got the better of him leading to the recording of the new album "The Champ". "The Champ" reflects Mutter's primary interest in 60's American blues, soul and R&B as well as his persistent addiction to "a half decent tune". Play "I May Not Be An Angel" to see what we mean.
