Federica Cerizza - Casa (2022)

She has participated in various concerts in the musical seasons of the Cantelli conservatory such as: In-audita musica. Nature and transcendence within the IX Festival Winds, Novara Jazz Lab 2016, Shubertiade in I Cocerti del Cantelli.

She was selected for three consecutive years by the pianist Maria Grazia Bellocchio in the Call for young performers, a masterclass focused on authors of contemporary music organized by the Divertimento Ensemble, performing music by Gyorgy Kurtag, Luciano Berio and Hugues Doufourt at the Museo del Novecento, the Auditorium del Sole 24ore and the Gallerie d'Italia in the cities of Milan, Vicenza and Naples.

She has played in various events such as the youth musical seasons of Cassano d'Adda, Pozzo d'Adda and Concesa, the Ville Aperte event at Palazzo Borromeo, Monza music, Festival MusiCambra, Pianocity 2015 performing in the auditorium of the Catholic University of Milan, Notes in flight at Malpensa airport, organized by Fazioli. In 2016 you collaborated with the conferences organized by LaVerdi in the foyer of the Milan Auditorium. Also in Milan you have a collaboration as accompanist pianist at the Teatro della Memoria. You have attended lessons and masterclasses with Simone Pedroni, Jeffrey Swann, Anna Kravthcenko, Maria Grazia Gazzola, Piotr Szychowsky, Tim Ovens and Jason Rebello.

She has always been passionate about jazz and improvisation, she studied under the guidance of the pianist Marco Detto.

In the jazz field you have played for important realities such as the Novara Street Jazz Festival, the Circolo del Libero Pensiero, the Jazzmi Festival and the historic Al Vapore club in Mestre. You also have some collaborations with the theater company Voci Sbagliate with which you performed at the Teatro Nuovo in Pisa, at the Teatro di Fauglia and at the Teatro Colombo in Valdottavo. He recorded his composition Vibrazioni in trio together with Riccardo Fioravanti and Stefano Bagnoli, which turned out to be among those awarded by the Estro Musicale Foundation for the year 2017. Since 2016 he has performed permanently in duo with the jazz trumpeter Luca Cosi within the project Il dream with which he pursues a concert activity and musical research by playing in various events including Musica in Filanda di Martinengo and the Music and Sounds Festival of Sarzana.

She obtained the Diploma of merit at the Accademia Chigiana in the context of the Tabula rasa improvisation seminar of the pianist Stefano Battaglia. You attended the permanent musical training laboratory at the Siena Jazz Academy.

She is currently in the final at the Forum Live Jazz 2022 competition.
Her first album, Casa, is expected to be released in November on the jazz label Filibusta Records.
