Shaun Escoffery - In the Red Room (Special Edition) (2015)

Shaun Escoffery, whose classic hits "Days Like This" and "Space Rider" are enjoyed by club goers worldwide, has returned to recording with the most successful album of his career. "In The Red Room" features four radio hit singles: "Nature's Call", "People", "Nobody Knows" and the sublime "Perfect Love Affair". Blessed with a glorious Isleys/Curtis Mayfield falsetto, Shaun has long been one of the UK's finest vocal talents. Since the release of the album he has appeared on Later... with Jools Holland, Sunday Brunch, Songs of Praise and recently guested on a Burt Bacharach special from London's Royal Festival Hall. Now available to coincide with Shaun's performance at the 2015 BBC Radio 2 Live In Hyde Park concert, this Special Edition includes his acoustic version of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" - originally performed on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 and also performed on Later, with Jools Holland accompanying Shaun on piano. Also included are Radio Session versions of "Days Like This" and "Perfect Love Affair", together with producer Gil Cang's Disco mix of "People".
