An album with poems in German and Norwegian signed Bertolt Brecht, melodies mostly by Hanns Eisler besides a couple of Kurt Weill Gendiktninger into Norwegian is by Jørn Simen Øverli. The album shows an exciting mix of Brecht's original texts, sung by Ruth Wilhelmine Meyer and Norwegian versions performed by Jørn Simen Øverli. In between these, Vigdis Hjort comes with poetic distillates from relevant Brecht poetry. This mixture of three layers of Brecht texts is surrounded by an exciting landscape arranged and shaped by Espen Leite and Rolf Erik Nyström together with the vocalists. Recorded in Kulturkirken Jakob by Erik Hillestad who is also a producer.
