Adrian Tully presents himself to his audience all by himself, and what the Australian saxophonist does with this venture is impressive: the Berlin native has adapted solo works across the centuries for his instrument, and the result is a colorful and surprisingly varied album that could not have been more personal and surprises with its depth of expression.
