Black Blood - A.I.E. (A'mwana) - The Best Of Black Blood (1993)

The African band Black Blood was founded in 1975 by Zaïre singer Steve Banda Kalenga and his Angolan musician friends. Their career began in Belgium with the support of Michel Jaspar. Among their songs, mostly performed in Swahili, A. I. E. (A Mwana) became especially popular, which years later was also scheduled for Ottawan and Bananarama. Unfortunately, the success got to the singer's head, so Jaspar broke off the cooperation with his protégés. Black Blood first reformed, then soon disbanded for good.
