Stéphane Laidet - À L'oreille! (2023)

"A l'oreille!" is an album of theater and flamenco music produced by Stéphane Laidet & Le Petit Comité (Paco Bastida, Pancho García and Joange Torredeflot). In the first place, it is the end point of an experience of more than 15 years with the company "El teatro de los sentidos". These melodies find their origins in the darkness and the meaning-laden silences of his early works. Some have even been played in Japan! They are themes that he had composed for some of his shows and we chose to record them just as they were played in the works, live with the company's musicians.

It is also the result of what some of us work on playing together with Chico Ocaña, a figure of a modern and playful flamenco style, like his group “Mártires del Compas”.

It is the meeting of a harmonica, a flamenco guitar, a Spanish guitar and a violin.
