After "hiding" behind the drums for almost 40 years, Bjørn Moe will be released on 10 February

debut album "Angel Number Seven", where he also shows himself as a songwriter and vocalist.

In September 2021, he released his very first single "The Book", which was very well received.

Since then, he has released six singles, and has already enchanted several with his soulful and powerful voice.

Now comes the debut album with ten songs, where he also shows that he is a skilled songwriter.

Bjørn Moe is already known by many as a skilled and creative drummer. On his debut album, he takes inspiration from the whole world's rhythm landscape, and is just as happy to take a trip to Africa as to the Middle East or the Caribbean.

The title track of the album, for example, is written in 7/8 time, which is a slightly unusual choice for a "pop song".

The fascinating thing is that these rhythmic antics are performed so elegantly and seamlessly, that the listener almost doesn't
notices it, but simply gets dragged into the song. These slightly quirky rhythmic moves in the songwriting,
gives both the title track and the debut album a distinct character, and a personal signature.
Although Bjørn Moe mainly moves in the landscape of pop and rock, his music has elements
from both jazz and world music, which creates an exciting atmosphere on the album.

Bjørn Moe's debut album is a story about love, family ties and roots,
but also a story of adventure and self-development. The song "The Island" takes us to an exotic mental haven, while "Sometimes" drools around the eternal question: What if?
"The Light Will Shine Again" was written after he experienced two deaths in close family in a very short time,
and is about the fact that everything that disappears around us is never completely gone, but leaves both mental and physical traces.
The album ends with "Mothers and Fathers", a strong song about roots and family ties,
where Thommas Schønberg's lovely guitar playing and Spellemannwinner Gina Aspenes' almost
alien background vocals towards the end of the song, make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck.
