Olli-Pekka Tuomisalo - Alone together (2023)

Finland's only doctor of saxophone, Olli-Pekka Tuomisalo, a long-time trumpeter of new music, released a new album on February 9, 2023. With this, he has already recorded 88 Finnish contemporary music works on his solo albums. The Alone Together album contains four saxophone quartets and what makes the release unique is that Tuomisalo has played these sometimes extremely challenging works down to every stem himself.
