Born in the Bois-Francs region (Victoriaville), Véronique was surrounded by music from an early age. At the age of three, she began learning the violin with Nicole Larivière of the Vivaldi movement. First enrolled in the music program at Sacré-Coeur elementary school, she continued her instrumental studies at Mitchell and Montcalm high schools in Sherbrooke and then at Jean-de-Brébeuf school in Quebec City. At the same time, she took private violin and piano lessons.

Member of duos and string quartets, participant in solo competitions, it seemed at this time that Véronique would know the usual course of a violinist. But Jean-de-Brébeuf's teachers offered her very different openings: she joined the school's various jazz ensembles and combos as a pianist. Without her suspecting it, these experiences will take on great importance in her life.

Her abilities as a classical musician being then recognized, she decided to embark on both styles at the same time. She continued her violin training at Cégep Sainte-Foy, then perfected her skills at the University of Ottawa with Calvin Sieb as well as with Christian Vachon, Conservatoire de Gatineau. Also a singer, she studied with Madeleine Osbourne and tenor Steeve Michaud, among others.

Touching on different musical styles and genres, she continued her career as a violinist in the Orchester symphonique de Gatineau, in a French music trio with Michel Normandeau (Harmonium) as well as with various jazz formations. His activities are shared between the stage and teaching. His private studio accommodates about thirty students. Thanks to her experiences as a violinist, pianist and singer, Véronique now performs with a wide variety of classical, jazz, hip hop and pop ensembles.
