Tommy Shaw takes a new direction on this album, getting outside producer Terry Taylor to help. Taylor actually over-produced this album, to the point that Ambition doesn't sound very much like Tommy Shaw. It sounds more like early-'90s Bad Company, making this another disappointing album from an artist who has more ability than is shown here.~Review by David White
