Claudia Cantisani - Sabrina sul petrolio (2023)

The vocalist and author Claudia Cantisani returns, for the fourth time, to the stage of the Blue Note.

Accompanied by a large and varied ensemble of musicians, Cantisani presents her third studio album, Sabrina sul petroleum, which has just been released on the La Stanza Nascosta Records label.

The new work contains prestigious collaborations: Andrea Agresti (the Hyenas), Sergio Caputo, former artistic "godfather" of Cantisani – the introductory notes to the previous one This weekend doesn't start well either- and Alessandro Haber; male interpreter all genius and recklessness of a damn romantic story, Sabrina on oil, with an epilogue of inevitable, prosaic, carnality.

The well-tested couple Cantisani-Del Vecchio adds another piece to their pop-jazz mix: a privileged view of everyday life poised between delightfully retro atmospheres and new modernity, anthropological investigation and irresistible playful allure.

Andrea Agresti will join Cantisani on stage in a happy reinterpretation of Caputi's Blu Elettrico and in the revival of Fredaster, a very successful vocal interplay where the interpretative phisique du rôle of the two artists is put at the service of a sparkling piece, between surreal taste and semi-serious existential changes of course .

The live performance of Il mio vecchio coupé (contained in the previous work This weekend doesn't start well either) and two suggestive forays, piano and voice, into the repertoire of Pino Daniele and Lucio Dalla, which reconfirm Cantisani as the charismatic and sensitive interpreter of the most intense of our signature song.
