Francoise Hardy - En anglais (1968 Reissue) (1990) CD-Rip

Released in late 1968 and just about impossible to find on anything other than vinyl until this CD was offered.Francoise Hardy released quite a few English recordings over the years but I believe this was her first attempt to package the early 'pop' recordings for her English speaking fans.The CD is a very high quality reproduction and will not disappoint anyone who appreciates her endearing music.The only letdown is it is too short at just 12 songs! Everything on the album remains true to the original release including the orchestration and her distinctive French accent.Not a putdown but a refreshing break from the mainstream British Invasion and American artists of the day - a vastly underappreciated talent on these shores.
