Emmalisa Hallander - Have a Look Inside (2023) Hi Res

Have a Look Inside, jazz vocalist Emmalisa Hallander’s debut album, will be released March 24th on the label Varva Records and Music. It consists of six songs written by the singer herself and a cover of Per Texas Johansson and Rebecka Törnqvists ballad ‘Miljarder stjärnor’, with a new, swedish lyric by Hallander. The songs on the album, with lyrics in both Swedish and English, handle themes related to the process of growing up, such as self doubt, love, hopelessness and searching for inner peace. Recorded in just a day with a live set-up at the KMH studio, these emotions were gracefully portrayed by Emmalisa’s heartfelt vocals and her band; Nina Sand (Piano), Anton Brodin (Guitar), Anton Berndts (Double bass), Filip Öhman (Drums) and the very special guest Fredrik Ljungqvist (Tenor saxophone and Clarinet) on a couple of tracks.
