Seattle rockers the Cave Singers successfully crowdfunded the recording, mixing and manufacturing of a new album earlier this year, raising over $20,000 in just one month. As promised, they’re self-releasing the completed product next year, according to an announcement on Facebook. It’s titled Banshee, and “That’s Why” is the first single. Unadorned except for a slight thread of guitar fuzz and a lone harmonica, the song trots along with a straightforward, snarly classic rock feel.
