Juho Peltoniemi Trio - Dust Dancing (2023) Hi Res

Juho Peltoniemi is a drummer, composer and pedagogue whose compositions have been released on the albums of Maratone Quintet and Heads & Tales before founding his own band. As a versatile musician, he has worked in the art of the 21st century in different style productions from jazz to classical.

The trio consists of experienced musicians: Pianist Aleksis Liukko, in addition to the trio bearing his own name, also plays in Sointi Jazz Orchestra and Laura Annika Quartet, for which he also composes and arranges material. Juho Kivivuori, known as an expressive and versatile contrabassist and electric bassist, has been seen in recent years, e.g. In the ranks of the UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra, Johanna Iivanainen, Martti Vesala Soundpost Quintet, Mirja Mäkelä Trio and numerous other jazz groups, and toured the world with the contemporary folk supergroup Frigg.
