This first Lampshade album mixes post-rock with clear, almost childishly sweet female vocals. Overall gloomy atmosphere dominates, but with bright spots such as xylophones, trumpets and a string here and there. It's different, and certainly not intended to please everyone's audience, but a few extra spins make it more pleasant, more understandable and ultimately very emotional and big by staying small.
