Gustav Mahler took the lied –song– to a level of musicality that has been called "symphonic song". The soprano María Goso and the pianist Irene Amerio, together with an instrumental ensemble, interpret two of Mahler's six song cycles: "Songs of the poet Friedrich Rückert" and "Songs of a walker".
"I have become a stranger to the world" is the title that gives life to this recital that is performed under the direction of maestro Juan Manuel Brarda.
The program includes the "Piano and String Quartet in A minor" performed by Lucía Luque (violin), Alejo Moreno (viola), Hermann Schreiner (cello) and Irene Amerio (piano).
