Fjord Mustang - Solitaire (2023) Hi-Res

Fjord Mustang is an indie rock band based in Toronto, Canada. The trio is comprised of Vick Egan, Devon Pelley, and Nathan Smofsky. Formed in 2019, their sound is a collision of 90’s indie rock and folk-rock, filled with propulsive rhythm, soaring melodic guitar riffs, and Egan's powerful vocals.

‘Solitaire’ is the byproduct of real-life experiences, learning to evolve with life's sudden changes and enjoying your own company in isolation --- exactly like the beloved single-player card game. As the trio dealt with uncovering inner truths about themselves for the past several years, ‘Solitaire’ is a reflection of how we can accept change, come to face our regrets and tackle new beginnings.

'Solitaire' is a record about navigating one's way through the universe whether by chance or force. Inspired by groups such as Big Thief, Andy Shauf, and Deep Sea Diver, Fjord Mustang delivers soft and emotional lyrics that truly pack a punch.
