Brimstone Butterfly is a Danish rock group that was formed in 1995 by high school friends Thomas Krämer (vocals, guitar), Kristian Vengsgaard (synthesizer/organ) and Ole Grell (bass). In 1996, the band expanded with Kristian Krämer (drums), who is also the brother of Thomas Krämer. Mads Fogt (guitar) joins Brimstone Butterfly in 2002.

In the period 1999 – 2005, Brimstone Butterfly released several albums at home and abroad, was frequently played on radio/TV, was Denmark's first number 1 on MTV Nordic, had music in Danish and international films and TV series (Nordkraft film, TV -series The Chosen Ones, the American TV series Good Girls Don't on Oxygen Network US, several title songs on TV2 and TV3), been nominated in the American Surround Music Awards.
