On the Yachts' self-titled debut (also known as S.O.S due to the misleading cover art), the former art-school students couldn't completely leave behind their arty pretentions, but power-pop eventually prevails. Frontman Henry Priestman's tacky organ flourishes surprisingly complement the typical power-pop arrangements. Includes "Suffice to Say," the striking debut single, as well as the infectious "Yachting Type" and "Look Back in Love."
