Forward is the last album by the saxophonist and composer Pablo Martín who has, once again, the complicity of double bassist Héctor Tejedo and drummer Kike Pérez.

In Forward, this trio with a remarkable career, shows a language of its own that is characterized by its energy and subtlety, and where the interplay that stands out in particular, which has allowed these three musicians to explore the different forms of expressiveness that this type of formation.

Pablo Martín has used his trio as a creative laboratory where he has poured the nine originals that make up Forward, an exercise that has resulted in enjoying his consolidated and mature language, and a communication between these three instrumentalists that goes beyond beyond music

Forward features the collaboration of guitarist Ernest Pipó on Hymn For The Silent Souls, which rounds off the music we can hear on this album.
