Motoharu Sano (佐野元春) is one of the most important artists in the Japanese popular music scene, especially in rock and roll. He debuted in 1980 with the single Angelina. Through today, he has released many impressive songs that have influenced the Japanese music tide. For example, with his fourth album Visitors he introduced hip-hop music to Japan — which was very new at that time — based on his single year spent in New York city. Other than that, he is very well known for his internet-savvy character. He has his own web site that is the first official musician home page in Japan. His latest album is Coyote, released in June 2007. He is ranked at number 13 on HMV Japan's list of top 100 Japanese pop artists.

The first self-produced 3rd album announced in May 1982. The pop and catchy sound of Motoharu became a big hit when it was released. In particular, the title track "SOMEDAY" is an immortal masterpiece that represents the Japanese pop and rock scene in the 80's. Contains 11 songs including "Happy Man" and "Rock & Roll Night"
