The Knack - My Sharona (1992)

The Knack is an American rock band from Los Angeles, whose hit single "My Sharona" was recognized in many countries around the world in 1979. The debut album Get The Knack was recorded almost live with the participation of the famous producer Mike Chapman. The Capitol company presented the disc to fanfare, which has not been since the "British invasion". The album flew off the shelves, reached the first line of the Billboard magazine chart and held this position for five weeks. The number of copies sold reached 2,000,000 in the USA alone. After 13 days, it was certified as "gold"; less than seven weeks after the release - as a "platinum" disc. The main single, "My Sharona", also reached the first place in the corresponding list, where it remained for six weeks. The next single, "Good Girls Don't", ended up at number 11 on the Billboard.
