The New Netherwitton Boys TN2B - The Dál Riata Suite (2023) [Hi-Res]

The New Netherwitton Boys (TN2B) is a new Celtic-EDM fusion band from Scotland. TN2B love and are heavily influenced by those modern Celtic music pioneers from Scotland, Ireland and beyond who preceded them, including the late, great Martyn Bennett, bands such as Niteworks, Elephant Sessions, Peatbog Faeries, Rura, Sketch, Valtos, originators and innovators such as Capercaillie, Shooglenifty, Afro Celt Sound System, The Rankin Family, and artists such as Julie Fowlis, Ross Ainslie & Ali Hutton. TN2B are huge advocates for the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. The band’s music captures the heart and soul of these breathtakingly beautiful and sometimes desolate places. TN2B’s debut album; The Dál Riata Suite, comprises twelve tracks, each dedicated to one of the inner Hebridean islands. The album is released on 1st September 2023. The Scottish Highlands and Islands suffer from decades of chronic lack of funding and investment from both government and the private sector, often due to a lack of infrastructure. The current ferry debacle, and lack of accessible, reliable fast broadband are just two critical examples affecting the lives and livelihoods of these communities. The New Netherwitton Boys (TN2B) are committed to shining a light on the incredible value and the needs of these communities and environments, while writing, recording and releasing new modern Celtic-EDM fusion music about the history, wildlife and people of this amazing and beautiful part of our country.
