“Induced” is the debut album by Lars Groeneveld’s Trippin’ Triangle. The aspiring clarinetist teamed up with electric guitar player Max Heimler and bass guitarist Markus Milian in 2020 to deliver a dynamic, dreamy rendition of jazz music that makes the most of this quite unique instrumentation and Groeneveld’s tasteful compositions.

Starting off from the earthly basis of blues and jazz, the Trippin’ Triangle takes you to airy acoustic heights, only to move further into reverberating guitar space. Complex rhythms wrapped in a warm and mellow sound are your companions on this sonic somnambulism through wide stretches of improvisation, experimentation, and the realm of melancholia – until the safe landing on grounds of pure relaxation.
