David Six (*1985), started out playing classical piano at the age of six. Soon it was clear that improvisation will take a leading role in his life. After studying piano at Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Linz, he left Austria to study Indian Classical Music in Berlin and in New Delhi. As a soloist and as a member of s t a r g a z e, David collaborated with many outstanding artist in genres of Contemporary Pop, Jazz and Classical Music such as Lisa Hannigan, Bryce Dessner, Nils Frahm, Terry Riley, Aart Strootman, Bill Frisell, Julia Lacherstorfer, Mira Lu Kovacs, The Barr Brothers, Simon Zöchbauer, Nora Fischer, Alexi Murdoch, Astronautalis, Shara Worden, Grant Hart, Ramsch & Rosen, Mahan Mirarab and many more!
