Miriam Kibakaya - Roots (2023) [Hi-Res]

Miriam Kibakaya's new album Roots album was recorded by Jo Ranheim in Øra Studio in 2022, mixed by Kyrre Laastad and mastered by Karl Klaseie. The music is inspired by the modern American jazz tradition and the sound of the Nordic jazz scene, and has a lurking and mystical atmosphere. Vocals function as lead instrument together with saxophone and violin, and are accompanied by piano, double bass and drums.
