More than six years after her debut, Roxeanne Hazes releases her long-awaited new album. An album that has been in the making for so long can rightly be called a 'difficult second'. “I didn't want to make this album overnight. But I never expected it to take so long. I often thought I was almost there, only to realize that I had to dig deeper and that there was more potential," says Roxeanne. 'De Tijd Gaat Mooi Dingen Doen' is a hopeful album in which the past years are sung. . "This album is really a reflection of all those highs and lows. The clichés such as 'an album as a diary and therapy' are completely applicable in this case. I sing about love, but also about saying goodbye. There are songs about friendship, fears, escape, self-discovery and much more. I am making an album primarily for myself, but I now mainly hope that others can gain strength, recognition and pleasure from it."
