SlideProjection - chronicles of dehumanization (2023) [Hi-Res]

Release concert of the band SlideProjection for their new album "chronicles of dehumanization".

SlideProjection is the name of the band around Ken Dombrowski. Already the title of the ensemble vividly describes the thematic-conceptual program of the music and gives an idea of the contextual reference to the current, media reality, which Dombrowski works on in his compositions. Embedded in an electroacoustic sound, stylistic contrasts are used musically to reflect these themes in a narrative, provocative and humorous way. The pieces sound experimental, but accessible and open up different perspectives on the conditions of our time to the listeners*.
As part of their debut album, Chronicles of Dehumanization, SlideProjection explores the growing impact of digital media on our lives. The pieces focus on the hidden potential for manipulation and different perspectives on our perception of reality.
SlideProjection present the mirror to the listener in a benevolent way; recognize, name and project everyday moments of an entire generation. To find oneself in it is inevitable. At the same time, however, the empowerment of self-determination and thus the hope for a future resounds powerfully in the compositions.
