'Forest Hymns' is a celebration of the natural world, where old folklore, fantasy and the mystical embrace of nature converge. An audible journey through ones own soul and connection to nature. The lyrics tell of transcendence and paint pictures of ancient myths and tales, while the music weaves simple yet intricate melodies that smell like the smoke of a campfire in a starlit night. Therefore, the album is not just a collection of songs, but an immersive experience - a profound reflection of reverence for nature's secrets and spiritual awakening. Most recordings were produced by D. in Ohio / USA. Supervision was handled by Valkenstijn at the House Of Inkantation, while Neil Schneider took over the mastering duties. The album features a stunning piece of art created by Aesep Yasin Abdulah and the bindrune was crafted by Urzeitkraft. VINTERGRAV's D handles most of the instruments and vocals throughout the album. However, 'Forest Hymns' also features a constellation of guest contributors who bring their unique talents to the mix: Sean Kratz and Kakophonix of Osi And The Jupiter, Shawn Haché of Tithe, Valkenstijn of Mosaic, Nico Schwappacher of Zwischenlichten, Raphael Weinroth-Browne of Musk Ox/Leprous and Michał Krawczuk of By The Spirits.
