Er Jazz Trio - Hope (2023)

ER Jazz Trio is first and foremost the story of a pianist, Eric Richard, trained in the schools of jazzman Barry Harris, classical accompaniment and French song. Borrowing the humility characterizing great accompanists, he was able to happily rub shoulders with many renowned artists and very varied styles such as Graeme Allwright, Lexie Kendrick & Sean Gourley, Patricia Barber, Michelle Hendricks, Sanseverino, the Swing Society , Ricky Ford etc. With these rich experiences and a slow maturation (like all good things!), he finally decided to embark on a more personal adventure, a project that was both simple and ambitious: paying homage to a certain classicism of post-bop jazz. through a repertoire consisting solely of original compositions.
