Teniola Apata aka TENI (OON) is an award-winning Nigerian song writer, singer, performer, actress and notable national figure.

A graduate of Business Administration from the American Intercontinental University, Atlanta, TENI is highly versatile as she is known to make sounds of different genres ranging from Afrobeats, pop, RnB and more.

Fondly referred to by fans as Makanaki or Sugar Mummy, her music is Influenced by Michael Jackson, Prince, Rolling Stones,Shania Twain, Brenda Fassie, King Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey and more. As a result of her talent and dedication, TENI has gone on to become one of the most sought after names in the African music industry touring over 50 cities across Europe, North America and Africa. The BET and MTV EMA nominee has bagged numerous awards and honours both home and abroad with recently being honoured with Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) - a top national merit award by The President of Nigeria for her services to nation building. Following the release of her first single, Fargin in 2017, TENI has gone on to build an impressive catalogue of 3 musical projects with popular tracks such as Wait, Askamaya, Uyomeyo, Billionaire For You and No Days Off - which was recently listed as one of the best songs of 2023 by Rolling Stone.
