This Sextet is a veritable dream team, and their guitarist Joe Krieg is an unusually impressive enrichment for the progressive mainstream music scene.
Within the current growing environment of new jazz guitarists, Joe Krieg, who is influenced by his roots from Germany and France, takes a special role which might not be easily endangered by competitors.

For his new project Joe Krieg is extending his quartet with a horn section. This change of line-up has a tremendous influence on the spectrum of sounds and brings the music to another level of expression.

The third album of JKQ & the Hornedition, will be released on May 13th 2016, and is influenced by the award-winning pianist and arranger Marco Netzbandt, who was motivated by Joe Krieg to participate in the project.

The self-declared melodic bebopper Joe Krieg offers a wide range of improvisational music which moves between Mainstream and Modern Jazz based on his influences and musical creativity.
