Raised on the blues jam of Nantes bars like the Route du rhum or the Canotier, the group will be structured around a female voice and four musicians who, over the years, will change according to each person's life.
This is how after the first stage of the creation of the group, it will always stick to simple principles which are to have fun playing this music around an original repertoire of blues and soul ranging from Big Mama Thornton to Syl Johnson and passing through Bill Dogget, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, BB King, Donny Hattaway, Aretha Franklin and even the Beatles.
The band will constantly renew its repertoire in order to achieve a balance and a clever mix of traditional Blues, swing and Soul. The group's progression is also marked by meetings with very great musicians from the USA such as Karl Davis, Josh Miller and Sean Costello.
The culmination of the first two years of rehearsals and concerts will lead the group to victory in the Blues Orange springboards of the Rendez-vous de l'Erdre (September 2006), and Jazz à Vannes (July 2007).
Encouraged by the professional jury as well as by a number of Nantais blues musicians, the quintet will continue to tour and perfect its repertoire on stages and concert cafés in the region.
2012 marks an important turning point for the group with the release of the first album “Get on your feet”, where we find their taste for “old school” swing and blues but also the energy and more incisive groove of soul. and funk.
