Mario Bočić, noted saxophonist and composer, presents his debut album entitled "Candide", created in collaboration with the HRT Jazz Orchestra.
The album contains seven exceptional compositions, the music for which is signed by Bočić himself, while the arrangements are made by Luka Žužić, Emiliano Sampaio, Miron Hauser and Štěpánka Balcarová. The album was recorded in the HRT studios under the baton of Miron Hauser.
"Candide" or optimism, was Bočić's light motive and guiding thought when creating this unique edition, to bring a touch of optimism to the world through his music.
Saxophonist Mario Bočić stands out with his carefree and relaxed playing and unique tone among talented musicians on the domestic jazz scene.
An award-winning musician, trained in Graz and Klagenfurt (classical and jazz saxophone), he is a participant in a number of projects and ensembles and has been a permanent member of the Hrt Jazz Orchestra for over ten years.
