Richard Wagner and Richard Strauss are the two most important composers in the musical world of the well-known German tenor Daniel Behle. It has long been a heartfelt wish of the singer to sing the music of these two important «Richards» with a large orchestra and also to record it on disc. Now this wish has been fulfilled on our label PROSPERO: Together with the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Austrian conductor Thomas Rösner, Behle sings selected orchestral songs by Richard Strauss such as Ständchen Op. 17 / 2 as well as scenes from Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Lohengrin and Tannhäuser by Richard Wagner.
